A Writer's Journey


Doing edits for Stone Cold Lover has opened my eyes to how much us writers have to learn, how no matter how many books we may or may not have published, how many years we may have been in the writing game, and how many writing comps we've won or finalled in, the learning never stops. Perhaps that's what makes this so endlessly interesting, the knowledge yet to be gained, the twisting, winding journey that never ends. And the writing friends you make along the way...

There does seem to be always more to learn. i'm finding there's things to learn through other's journeys too.

And eveyone in the community are so supportive. It's great fun.

Except when it's bloody hard work. Maybe even then too...

I know exactly what you Becca! For me the fun is the first few chapters where you're creativity does its thing... the hard work is going back and fixing inconsistencies (the bane of a pantser) and making everything spot on =)

Oh yeah - the learning never stops, it only increases in intencity. The more I learn, the more I find out how little I know. :o)
