Book of the month & August reads

I really enjoyed this book - one of Keri's older series, showcasing a shapeshifter hero and a witch heroine who just may save the world with her magic powers - if she can only remember a past that is fast catching up to her. Set in Melbourne and full of non-stop action with goulish monsters and vampires alike, it seemed over too quickly for my liking!

August reads:
Savage Dragon: Anna Hackett
The Trelayne Inheritance: Colleen Shannon
Guarded by Stone: Yolanda Steisos

Night's Cold Kiss: release day!!

Happy release day Tracey!!

For those who didn't get to read the early blurb, here it 'tis again! -

My First Review

Just got back from the Romance Writer's of Australia conference. WOW. This was a credit to the organizors who ran it like clockwork - no mean feat with the 240 odd writers who attended. Anyway, I'm home now, bone weary but so very inspired! And so excited to see my very first review at Night Time Romance Reviews - 5 stars!!!! Squeee!! Writing in Progress (Ice Cold Lover, Her Dark Guardian & Believe)

Stone-Cold Lover is not far from its release date (whoo hoo!!) But in the meantime I have a few projects I'm working on that are coming along very nicely.

Ice Cold Lover is my next novella I hope to publish with Ellora's Cave. It features the daughter of the gargoyle hero and human heroine from SCL. This new heroine has a few body issues she has to deal with, as well as an obsessed, gorgeous, notorious bad guy... Oh dear!!

Her Dark Guardian is an old manuscript I resurrected that was originally aimed for Desire or Presents. This done well in the contest circuit, but it's simply too dark for category romance so I've decided (in my free time LOL) to turn this into a paranormal. Hmm. A super-model who returns home to her ex-lover - a reclusive artist. Should be interesting!

Last but definately not least, I'm also working on a single title (or perhaps mainstream) novel with my co-author - hey Kylie! - which is a bit of a learning curve from my usual comfortable paranormal niche. That being said, there's a real darkness to this book (can you sense a recurring theme here!) with paranormal elements (psychic, spirits) and a hero who is falling into drugs as quickly as he's falling for a single, pregnant woman who just moved in next door...

Now if only I could write as quickly as Ms Nora Roberts!

Milestones and the Passing of Time

Winter's chill is already thawing, making me question where most of this year has gone? Seems as if it's just flown by and I'm grappling to keep up! I think the many milestones to celebrate has helped/will help it pass. My little girl turned two not so long ago (they aren't babies for long!) and now my eldest daughter is due to have her own little one - and I'll be a granny!! I'm attending the RWA conference, and my first published book is due out this month, and I can look forward to making a living - finally - from my writing!! Bring on Spring!

99C Dark Mafia Romance for a limited time!

For those readers not already in KU, I've put book 1 of the Gangsters at War series on sale at Amazon for 99c for a very short time. E...
