Who is YOUR favourite vampire?

To celebrate the release of HER DARK LORD and my fellow Nocturne Bites author, Anna Hackett’s HUNTER’S SURRENDER, Anna and I are giving away a different vampire Bites every week during March and April.

For the chance to win, just visit our blogs each week and come share some fav vampire facts. We’ll be announcing a winner every Sunday (Aussie time) for the next two months.

To kick off Week 1, come and share here at my blog who’s your favourite vampire and you’ll go in the draw to win a free download of HER DARK LORD.

Next week, stop by Anna’s blog for a chance to win Michele Hauf’s Bites, THE VAMPIRE’S TANGO.

Book Trailer: Her Dark Lord

Had a bit of fun this afternoon playing with a book trailer for Her Dark Lord. As I said, great fun, but a bit too much procrastination...

LoveCats interview

Thanks Tracie Sommers for the very impromptu IM chat about my upcoming Noc Bites release, Her Dark Lord. It was a very fun way to answer questions right off the bat - no processing of thoughts first! LOL. To check it out go to:

Ice Cold Lover - done!!!!

I am so pleased and so very relieved to send this novella off to my editor tonight - well morning - it's almost 1.00am here. It's been a tough one to get right, but I'm really happy I perservered with Ice Cold Lover and got it where I wanted it to be - eventually! I can only hope the fans of Stone-Cold Lover will be happy with this one too... time will tell!

How many MS's are too many?

I'm in the final edits of Ice Cold Lover, scrutinizing the last chapter and taking extra special care that all the loose plot ends are tied, and the GMC neatly wrapped up. Because I loathe doing this, I tend to spend much more time on other manuscripts, getting side-tracked while I think things through on my near completed MS. I don't know what it is about endings, but I totally don't have the knack for them. Give me a scenario on any given situation, and those first words flow like butter over a hot man's, ah, thighs (g)
At the moment I have four stories on the go - and three or four I really want to finish (or revise). Question is: how many stories, are too many?

101 Bootcamper Gals!

Just wanted to thank the bootcamp 101 girls for inviting me as their cyber guest author (geez, I feel amost famous!) I had a great time, with lots of fun, some serious topics - like chocolate and wine - which eventually verged onto the paranomal (cue creepy twilight music) which no doubt stirred the creative juices! I think we even managed to talk about writing, a little...LOL
Thanks again girls, you were awesome!

February: Quote of the Month

Detail makes the difference between boring and terrific writing. It’s the difference between a pencil sketch and a lush oil painting. As a writer, words are your paint. Use all the colors.
