PS - have now added dates to help work out where I'm at. I'm still clutching hold of my positive thinking!!! (and not just with the time frame. Writers have to think positive with agent hunting and contracts, failure isn't an option!)

CAPA nomination

Very excited by my CAPA nomination in the Paranormal Erotic category, for Ice-Cold Lover.
To be up there with names like Angela Knight and Lora Leigh - wow! I'm stoked!! And my friend Laurann is up there too, with not just one but four nominations in different categories!!
Fellow Aussie writer (and self-confessed word smith) Denise Rossetti is there too in the fantasy category with Thief of Light.
congrats to all the nominess, what a great Christmas present!

Carnal Moon: first review
Got a lovely review from Seriously Reviewed for CARNAL MOON my short 'quickies' story featuring werewolves.
Here's what the wonderful reviewer had to say =)))
Review: Fantastic! World building in a short story that lacked nothing. From the pheromones to the shift, to the hunt, you’ll experience werewolf life as Holly does. You’ll be invested and swept into Mel’s incredibly erotic shifter world. Attention to the smallest detail made this story complete in a way most quickies aren’t. Without giving away any spoilers, I wasn’t surprised by the ending. In fact, it ended just as I hoped it would and the predictability didn’t detract from my enjoyment. To repeat myself because it was just so hot, sexy and satisfying. This story is fantastic.

Another Lovecat Read...Zana Bell

I've just finished TEMPTING THE NEGOTIATOR, a harlequin super romance by our very own kiwi lovecat, Zana Bell.
What a great story!
Sass Walker, a New York lawyer on a mission to climb the company ladder, meets New Zealand's Jake Finlayson, champion surfer and environmental hero intent on saving some birds...some endangered fairy terns, to be precise.
But their instant chemistry isn't about to stop her from making a push for a resort. A resort that will ensure her rise to the top of her career.

Children's books

Denise Rosetti's blog reminded me I hadn't yet bought my three year old any books for Christmas - and she just loves them (after horses).
I went online and found some that I remember well, ones I'll know she'll love too! The book depository is a fav for all us writers and readers - no postage!!
Here's what I went with: =))))
