I generally read three or four different books at a time, and have been lucky enough to read some brilliant books recently. I'm almost finished these three below, and loving them!
Kissing Sin, is Keri Arthur's 2nd book of the Riley Jenson series starring a sex-hungry werewolf cross vampire heroine, a horse shifter lover and quite a few other past lovers.... did I mention the fight scenes and the sex scenes? Loving it!
Forbidden is Christina Phillips take on the Roman times with Maximus and Carys who share a forbidden love! I have to say I loved the opening scene (no spoilers here) and of course you gotta love/hate the bad guy!!
Acheron is Sherrilyn Kenyon's 15th book in the Dark Hunter series. I was never a fan of S.K's but this book is making me reconsider. Acheron is a god sent to the womb of a human queen to save his life. Only he grows up to endure unspeakable abuse and horrors. I'm only halfway through this book, and all I can say is I'm looking forward to his HEA!!!!

Hi Mel,
I have Christina's book sitting on the top of my TBR pile.
ACHERON is a real doorstop of a book but I couldn't stop reading it until I'd finished it. I'd waited so long to read his story - I'd be interested to know your impression once you've finished. Especially about Acheron's heroine.
ATM I'm reading THE DARKEST EDGE OF DAWN by Kelly Gay. It's the second in her Charlie Madison series, an urban fantasy with romantic elements. I had the pleasure of meeting her at RWA over in Orlando this year. Not usually into first person books but I've been sucked into this series! :-)
Thanks Norman!
Hi Kylie!
You'll really enjoy Forbidden =)
And totally agree - Acheron is door stop size LOL!! A few times I've thought - enough already! - but yes, I really really have to finish it now!
Thanks for the heads up on a new series!
Hey Mel, glad you are having fun reading. I just finished the Riley Jensen series - you are in for a real treat. :))
I have just got my copy of Christina's book and am thinking whether to indulge or have it as my next 'reward' book for writing. Hmmm.....
And I'm only up to book 3 of the Dark Hunter series, so am way behind but am enjoying it in bite sized pieces.
Eleni,
we sooo need some more time to just chill and read!!
I hear you on that Mel!!
