My April Pet...

This is Ginny AKA Ginny Cat, of the royal ginger variety, given to me by my now long-distance friend and once co-worker.
Ginny is my resident snake hunter, and has even been known to pull a red-belly black snake out of my hallway cupboard (yes, I did put my hand into that cupboard and drag her out, narrowly missing being struck at by said snake...)
Ginny is around 5 years old and lords it a bit over the household. She mostly sleeps on Miss 14's bed at night, along with her best friend Bundy. But she is also a bit of a bully and is known to frequently attack one of my more timid feline friends. (tsk tsk). I sometimes wonder if she thinks she's a tomcat - especially after catching her spraying on a tree outside.
Ginnie, I might have to call you Jimmy instead...

Brave cat. eeeek on the snakes. I'm a city girl through and through, and the thought of snakes in a house terrifies me.

Ginnie does sound like a character indeed.

I loathe snakes too Eleni - if the snake is in the paddock and far away, that's fine - but in the house! NO WAY!
And yes, she's a character =)

I so totally agree, girls, snakes DO NOT belong in the house. Oh dear, now I'm thinking of calling her the Snake Hunter and then those thoughts are leading... Tsk, tsk, indeed. It's all your fault Ms Teshco, I've just finished reading Galactic Burn.
