Enraptured review

I'm so happy to get a 5/5 review and a 50/50 score for Enraptured, thanks to Bella from Fallen Angel Reviews. It seriously made my day! :)

A wonderful spin on the Pretty Woman story. I loved Kate and Blaine. At first, I was uncertain about Blaine. His did a few things that made me see him as a stalker, but soon, I understood his motives and, I think, his heart. Great entertaining story.

“Sex couldn’t replicate love, no matter how much she enjoyed the act.” … And I say Amen to that. This is a well-written novella dealing with the self-esteem after effects of bullying.
Our protagonist, Kate, creates a separate persona with a different name in order to create a separate reality in which she is beautiful, self-assured, and able to enjoy sex. She creates Brandy, a high priced call girl/escort who remains aloof as she goes from bed to bed of the most elite group of billionaires.
The characters in this novella are well defined in spite of the short length of this story. The plot line is both interesting and erotic. Blaine is the perfect male lead we all dream of in our fantasies. He is handsome, assertive, complicated, passionate and rich. From the moment he meets Brandy, he is taken by her beauty and style. She becomes his obsession as he tries to entice her away from the escort life to become his own alone.
I have given this novella 4.5 Stars, because this novella was a little too short. I was left wanting more and hoping the author will continue to write about these characters in the future.

Enraptured is out at the Ellora's Cave website! If you love Pretty Woman, I hope you'll also love this story. It's one of my few contemporaries I've done =))

 Just found out the release date for Enraptured is July 3rd. Very happy! It's not paranormal but it's a little bit dark and gritty =)

Upcoming Books

 I can't believe how fast this year is going - seriously! Feels like only yesterday I was talking about "the move" and my new life. And now, here I am well over a month gone living somewhere else. =))

I'm on the last chapter of Kidnapping the Princess before I get to the edits of Enraptured. And then also waiting on edits and cover!!! (squee!!) for Believe! Things have slowed down considerably since the move, that's for sure but I've got my groove back with an exciting new project in the works! (will tell you more when I can!)

Off now to take Miss 15 off to her first day at her new school (Miss 5 started last week before holidays). Hope you are all having a great year so far!

While I'm looking forward to seeing my 3rd Alien Hunger book come out, My call girl story, Enraptured, has been accepted by Ellora's Cave. If you love Pretty Woman I'm hoping you'll love this story too. What's not to love about a man who'd climb walls to get the woman he wants? *smiles*

Right now though I'm working hard on getting Shadow Hunter right, a very old ms that really gave me a heads up about what direction I wanted my writing to go (paranormal). It won/finalled in some writing awards but it's not quite up to publishable yet. I hope to send it off in the next few days though =))

After that I have book 2 in my new series to take care of, need to get my act together as I've done 5k on it so far LOL! And a new book I shouldn't have started has also got my attention. But I've discovered (only taken my 10 years) that my brain needs to jump from one ms to the other or I start fluffing around too much and getting nowhere.
