No Other Option

I really feel like I have no other option now than to delete all my Ellora's Cave books from my blog and website. Believe it or not, EC authors are NOT getting paid, and haven't been for a VERY long time. It's frustrating and disgusting and many other words I won't put up - but authors too have bills to pay, kids to feed, uni fees to find and Christmas looming just around the corner.
I think there may be a special kind of place for people who do this to their 'employees' but I won't be reduced to slandering and name calling and everything else that has been going on by a certain someone...

Slack Blogger Alert!

Seriously though, I've been slack at blogging but hard at work - not that I've got much to show for it this year. BUT you will see a Christmas anthology coming out soon this year, which will be available for pre-order - I will post the moment it goes up! Very excited to be a part of this one with some amazing authors! =))

Next year - I can talk about next year now, right? I can if it's because all of my hard work from this year will be published next year...

Dimensional will be coming out in March (at this stage) with Harlequin Escape, and I will also be in cowboy continuity from that same publisher, around Feb. AND at this stage - if I can meet the deadline - I'll be in a Valentine's anthology with my new publisher (can't say more at this moment, but this same publisher has accepted something else from me too...)

Also after the success of Taken by the Sheikh, Cathleen Ross, Christina Phillips and I will be launching yet another "Taken" title.... anyone love Billionares? Good. Taken by the Billionaire is already under discussion!

New Release!! Ours to Share

So excited to have a new release today - Ours to Share is book 8 of the 9 book series (but all can be read as standalone novellas) and the end of our journey to Solitaire! Had such fun writing these stories alongside Denise Rosetti and Shona Husk who also wrote Ours to Embrace (book 7) and Ours to Save (book 9).

What I'm up to...

I haven't posted on my blog for too long and thought I'd do an update. I've been busy writing - at this time mostly two stories are taking up most of my time. Here's a little about them:

Mutant Supreme - think sci-fi post apocalyptic romance. Think a chemical bomb and humans surviving either by living in domes or by their bodies adapting and becoming something more than human. An enforced evolution. Add in the bad guy (or woman in this case) who'd do anything to harness mutant powers, and a heroine who has no idea what she is capable of, let alone what she is - and a hero who has sacrificed everything to save her... yep, that's it in a nutshell.

Broken - This is a contemporary romance with a heroine based on the terrible condition my eldest daughter suffers from. I'm not far in at this stage, but it's emotional and close to my heart. And it's something I hope readers will relate to and maybe even learn a little about.

I've also started a xmas themed story which you'll here more about later on - obviously lol. It's also contemporary romance with a smidge of suspense and action thrown in =)

And will be shortly in discussion with Cathleen and Christina about another "Taken" anthology after the wonderful success of "Taken by the Sheikh."

Hope to have some more news soon of a couple of projects that will be published later on in the year. And that's not to forget my last ES Siren story: Ours to Share out in July of this year! This is one hot menage story I had loads of fun writing! =)

Time Flies!

I feel like I've been taking two steps forward and three steps back this year, with it already being the fourth month HOLY SMOKES!!! Surely the clocks are spinning faster or something, cause it feels like I'm growing old faster than I can eat, drink and write (and be merry LOL!!)

On the writing front I'm hoping to hear news on Dimensional very soon - this is a 78k(ish) manuscript that is a cross between magical realism, contemporary, and time-travel romance. And probably straddles a few other genres too!

I'm also working on a secret project - all I can say is it's a short rural, but more news on that later!! =)

For now most of my energy and creativity has been directed toward Mutant Supreme - and this one is in first pov - loving the change! This story all started from a vivid dream, and I can honestly say it might be one of my fav stories to date. I'm heading toward 40k but I'm aiming for around 90k on this one, so it'd going to take me a good half year to finish it between my other projects!

Cathleen Ross, Christina Phillips and I are also hoping to do another boxed set soon - hoping we'll each find the month or two needed to get our stories done!
